The 7X Ranch Campground, originally part of a 2,300-acre cattle ranch, was generously donated to the children of North San Luis Obispo County by Dee and Minnabel Fitzhugh in the late 1980s and has since welcomed youth from across North SLO County, including families, local schools, community groups, & youth organizations.

The 7X Ranch is a stunning 80-acre oak woodland 17 miles west of Paso Robles. It offers a stunning ecosystem in a tranquil, remote setting. Shady trails wind through a diverse ecosystem with a gently flowing creek nearby.

We are a small group of volunteers, committed to ensuring this special place continues to serve our local youth for generations to come. Our nonprofit believes all children should have affordable access to our natural world, & is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive community for all.

The 7X Ranch Campground offers 6 developed campsites, each with ample shade, water access & convenient proximity to flush toilets & hot showers. The Picnic Area across the creek features a horseshoe pit, volleyball court, tables, restroom & large flat game area. Access to hiking trails, games, and a small amphitheater/fire pit with seating adds to the fun! Total occupancy is 75 people.
